Voting is over!

We thought we would take the time to let you know the valuable impacts this project has had not just for the Green Team but the entire school.

3 student seniors chose Harvest the Wind as an independent study course this semester. The girls spent time doing a geo-spatial and view-shed analysis, they are working with wildlife biologists to ensure animal safety, and researching the sound dilemma. On top of all of this research, the girls have spent a remarkable amount of time getting out the vote calling into radio stations, doing interviews, and even getting a spot on KULR8's WakeUp Montana. The girls have gained crucial real world experience that will benefit their college path and potentially a career path in the future!

Other classes have also had a chance to participate. The computer application class made us all of our amazing memes and videos to promote voting across the region. The Pro-start culinary class made hors d'oeuvres for the community open house the Green Team put on and the photography and film class have done their own interviewing and were able to shadow KULR8 when they visited the school.

We find out the results of the voting in December. Even if we don't win, the impact this has had on Red Lodge High School has been an unbelievable experience so THANK YOU for supporting us!
